Summary: Finally, a horror movie mom that's a killer, but at the same time not ruining her son's life. At least, not intentionally. The point is that at least this one didn't start out insane.
History: Emily Dwyer, mother of Clay Dwyer, is a kindly aging woman who's been raising his son well into his young adult years. But one day, her kindness is punished when she allows a dangerous vagrant into her house, who bites her. As it turns out, that was a werewolf, and now Emily is doomed to become one of them. Her slaughter is about to begin.
Notable Kills: Nothing special
Final Fate: After confronting Clay's girlfriend, Emily lashes out at him in her bestial form and launches him out a window, seemingly killing him. Filled with remorse over possibly killing her own son, Emily fails to realize that he's alive before she violently incinerates herself.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Highly intolerant to fire.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-At first, we can't help but laugh at the very prospect of a granny tearing people's throats out and pouncing all over the place. But then we see her near-complete transformation and DEAR GOD, THOSE TEETH!
Trivia: -Emily was played by Jeanne Bates, who was a major character in "Eraserhead".
-The concept of werewomen, at least in some cultures, has often been associated with witchcraft, as were-anythings were typically viewed as masculine properties. Times are different, now.
